Alley kids in Vientiane
In 2001, when I walked down a small alley in Lao, the children paused their play and walked with me till the end of the alley, all the time asking many questions about where I came from and what I do etc.
21 years later, I am back in an alley in Vientiane. The same thing happened, but the kids this time are dressed in superhero costumes. I wonder if these kids are the children of the kids I met back in 2001.
