Is there an Ahp inside? (Cambodia)
Ciné Lux, a cinema hall in Phnom Penh built in the late 1930s, has closed down. It stands dilapidated and looks haunted.
During my stay at street 172 some years back, I used to cross the busy intersection here. You could never miss the colourful scary movie posters. They always showed Thai or Khmer horror movies. This is where I learn about the Ahp (a Southeast Asian ghost in the shape of a floating woman's head with internal organs trailing behind, also known as Krasue in Thailand). Now, Ciné Lux can be a perfect venue to film a horror film.
