Burmese new year (Singapore)

Who does not like free food? I like it a lot. I drop in the various ethnic areas on their festival daya. You always get free food and party. I ended up at Peninsula Plaza for the Burmese new year. Ofcourse I got free food and joined the water throwing party.

Updates:

In 2018, one Sunday close to the Burmese New year, I ended up the Burmse Temple at Tai Gin Road in Singapore with another friend. Again we were invited for a meal by the folks in the temple.

By 2015, Peninsula Plaza banned water festival. I was lamenting to the friend about missing the festivities. She led me across to the road to the Fort Canning Park. The party has relocated here.
