A camera from Ukraine (Singapore)

I got this Fed 5B camera from a used camera shop in Singapore. The camera is made during the Soviet Union time in Ukraine. I like how it looks and how it feels like a tank. It’s quite heavy, almost half the weight of my travel bag, but it takes great pictures.

The first four photos below were taken from inside a bus. The film is Ferrania Solaris 400.

Found a light-meter app on the iPhone. You can lock in your film speed and set either the aperture or shutter speed. The app will calculate the complementary settings based on the ambient light.
