Back at the Russian market, there is an Uzbek person who bakes black bread. Time for some Soviet nostalgia.
Tarkhun , the green drink from Georgia/Russia
Nothing to do with Soviet stuff but the Lagrace café in Phnom Penh is probably the only place in the country that changes its Wi-Fi password regularly. It doesn’t feel like home when you have to ask for the password. I’m used to my phone automatically connecting to Wi-Fi in most places here. I tell the staff that ‘Thou shalt never change the Wi-Fi password’ is in the country’s constitution somewhere. They don’t believe me, but they write a nice message for me when they give me my drink. Now it feels like home again.
